A New Jersey appeals panel refused Monday to let the owner of a Hillsdale ShopRite store out of a customer’s slip-and-fall suit, saying despite her failure to name the proper entity as a defendant, the case should still go forward because the owner is on notice and has been participating in the case the whole time.
