“I have many friends who work in law enforcement and I recognize the challenges of criticizing the actions of those who serve and protect,” the plaintiff’s attorney said. “But this young woman was in jail for one night for an old bench warrant with a recently broken knee and she was treated like a number with no real accommodations for her injury.”
