Ex-N.J. assistant prosecutor gets $320K settlement in discrimination lawsuit.

A former assistant prosecutor in Union County who claimed she faced gender and age discrimination and was passed over for promotions because she was married to another high-ranking prosecutor was paid $320,000 in a recently approved settlement, court documents show.
Susan Gleason claimed in her suit that a top official now with the attorney general’s office, Lyndsay Ruotolo, told her in 2019 she couldn’t be promoted because Gleason’s husband was chief of detectives and it would “look funny.”
